James Hancock is a knowledgeable and professional real estate agent and we highly recommend his services to anyone looking to purchase a home in west Los Angeles. James surpassed our expectations of a real estate agent by spending hours introducing our new city to us, providing solid guidance on putting in an offer that was accepted by a difficult seller and making our family feel that we were truly his only clients.
We had a great experience with James right from the start when we relocated here from San Francisco. James spent days driving us around various neighborhoods in L.A. in order to familiarize us with our new city and to show us homes that would fit our growing family’s needs. In addition to his familiarity with the neighborhoods, James’ knowledge of homes, construction, renovations and building codes served as a fantastic educational resource for us that we still use today.
James’ network of relationships with other brokers also allowed us to see some homes before they even officially went onto the market. This proved to be a critical asset in the fast moving real estate market of west L.A. Although we had actually toured through the home we purchased before even meeting James, we can honestly say that we would not have ended up in our wonderful house without him and his expertise. His personal relationship with the selling agent along with his own perspective on the market value of our potential new home allowed us to put in an offer that was accepted by a client that had previously been very stubborn about only accepting bids as high as the offer price.
The highest compliment that we can give to James, however, is that throughout the search for our new home, we felt like we were his only clients. While we know he was working on multiple projects, James was always extremely responsive, and we felt comfortable calling him anytime. We have recommended James to friends and family and plan to work with him in the future on our next home sale and purchase.
